Top 10 Interesting Facts About the ASTA Black Clover 2022

ASTA: In this article, we will discuss the facts of ASTA. Without the strength of its lead character, Asta, Black Clover might not be as popular as it is. Here’s some information about him that only loyal fans are aware of.

Black Clover is swiftly gaining popularity as one of the most popular shonen anime series on the market. Whether it’s because most of the older shonen series like Naruto or Bleach have concluded, or just because it’s so good, Black Clover is unquestionably a rising star in the anime world.

As the second season of the show draws to a close, we’ve opted to focus on the main character. Despite Asta’s centrality to the plot, it’s easy to overlook a lot of information about him. That’s not a problem; this list contains ten facts about Asta that only diehard fans are aware of.

ASTA

1. ASTA CAN SENSE KI

Asta has never been able to develop a magical power, but that doesn’t mean he relies solely on wildly swinging his sword. Yami Sukehiro, the Captain of the Black Bulls, teaches Asta a new technique during the arc

when he first comes up against the Eye of the Midnight Sun. This technique essentially functions as a sixth sense, allowing him to perceive the life energy of those in his immediate vicinity. Asta can react and attack faster than a typical human as a result of this,

giving him an even more lethal menace in close combat. It’s a great touch that they were able to have Yami bring over knowledge and prowess from another country and culture, given that he came from another country.

ASTA

2. HAS A LITERAL DEMON INSIDE HIM

Naruto has the nine tailed fox demon inside him, so this isn’t new. But, whereas everyone else has had to contend with their inner power seeking domination, Asta hasn’t had nearly the same experience. Instead, during combat against an opponent,

the small Magic Knight sensed this dark power stirring up inside of him, and rather of giving in, he opted to boss the demon around. Instead of giving up his body, Asta was given access to the demon’s anti-magic talents, which allowed him to undergo his first change.

3. ASTA CAN BREAK CURSES

Asta’s original weapon negates all magic, rendering it null and leveling the physical playing field between him and whatever he’s up against. Asta has used this to his advantage on multiple occasions, including once

when he was against an opponent who attempted to hold the sword in his body to prevent Asta from using it, only to become slower as the blade dulled his magical sensitivity. Asta’s acquisition of a third weapon, the Demon Destroyer Sword, turned out to be foreshadowing. Asta can absorb and remove the effects of spells and curses using this weapon.

ASTA

4. HAS AN UNINTENTIONAL HAREM

Surprisingly, despite being mistreated in every other way, Asta has managed to attract a large number of female admirers. Noelle, a Black Bulls teammate, is there. Mimosa of the Golden Dawn, a member of Yuno’s trio, is also present. Last but not least, there’s Rebecca, a city commoner.

They all admire him for his straightforwardness, honesty, and determination to always do the right thing. Unfortunately, all he has is a torch for the nun who reared him.

5. ASTA ORIGINAL LAST NAME WAS “STARIA”

Asta’s origins are unknown, as he was abandoned at the Hage Village orphanage shortly after birth. He spent his early years there, where he was raised by other youngsters who served as his family. But the character lacked the last name since he was never given one by his parents… at least not in the manga.

Both he and Yuno had names in the one shot pilot series. We find out that Asta’s last name was Staria. This is a little redundant because he’s called after the flower, which is derived from a Greek term that means “Star.”

ASTA

6. CAN STORE MAGIC IN HIS SWORD

Asta’s grimoire has only so far rewarded him with a collection of swords. It seems out of place in a series where everyone is supposed to be a mage, but that’s the character’s purpose. Asta, unlike everyone else in the series, not only has minimal talent with magic, but he has none at all.

That isn’t to say he won’t be able to use it. During his struggle against the Diamond Kingdom’s soldier, Mars, he obtains the second sword, which allows him to drain other people’s magic and store it for use in warfare. He doesn’t use this very often, but it’s still a valuable card to have.

ASTA

7. WAS TRAINED BY AN ENEMY SOLDIER

Asta obtains his grimoire, which contains a blade within its pages, in the first episode. But, even though he spent a lot of time practicing, none of it required becoming skilled with a blade. Even throughout the Magic Knight Exam, though, he has an almost amazing understanding of how to utilize it. This is revealed later in the story when we find that Asta had sword training from Fanzell Kruger,

a former Diamond Kingdom soldier. While on the run from Diamond, Fanzell met Asta, whom he taught to fight while Asta assisted him in fending off Diamond Kingdom soldiers.

8. ASTA WAS ONCE A DETECTIVE

The first few chapters of Black Clover, it was paired with Toshiaki Iwashiro’s short-lived manga Kagamigami. Kyousuke Kagami, a young man capable of forging contracts with Shikigami, astral spirits who enjoyed inhabiting humans and causing havoc,

worked alongside Mako Miyoshi, a young woman aspiring to be a detective, in the Kagamigami series. To commemorate the publication of the first volumes of both series,

a crossover manga was publish in which Asta join Miyoshi’s detective agency. He couldn’t summon any spirits, so he just kept hitting the dangers in the face until Miyoshi insisted that he employ Shikigami.

9. IS THE CHARACTER MOST LIKE THE CREATOR

Yuki Tabata was asked by some of the VIZ employees which character from his series he was most like in a 2017 interview with Weekly Shonen Jump at the December Jump Festival. Surprisingly, Tabata revealed that the character he most resembled was the series’ main character, Asta!

Even more surprising was Tabata’s editor, Katayama, swiftly agreeing with him in the same interview because of his continuously upbeat attitude and inability to sit still. I suppose that’s one way to publish so many pages per month.

10. ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR CHARACTERS IN THE SERIES

This appears to be self evident, as Asta is the main character, and it’s only reasonable that the main character should be the most popular in the series given the amount of attention they receive. However, have a look at Deku to understand just how much labour this is. Weekly Shonen Jump publishes Black Clover, as well as many of our favorite action-oriented series.

Every manga has a popularity poll now and then, asking its readers who their favorite characters are. Other key characters, such as their opponents, are frequently eclipsed by dark horse characters, but not Asta his perseverance and ability to triumph despite not being the fastest or the strongest have won the hearts of fans worldwide.
